What effect does parental sentencing have on children?

According to the criminal law of our country, whoever commits a crime will bear legal responsibility and will not involve other family members. Therefore, legally speaking, parents commit crimes and their children do not bear legal responsibility. But if parents commit a criminal offence, it will have a certain impact on their children's political future!

Parents with criminal records may have an impact on themselves, their immediate children, their immediate parents, their spouses joining the army, civil service examinations, military schools, police schools, bank recruitment, and state-owned enterprise recruitment. If they fail the political examination, they will not be hired.

Legal basis:

Article 26 of the Civil Service Law stipulates that the following persons shall not be employed as civil servants:

(1) Having received criminal punishment for committing a crime;

(two) was expelled from China * * * party;

(3) Being expelled from public office;

(4) Being listed as the object of joint punishment for dishonesty according to law;

(five) there are other circumstances in which the law stipulates that it is not allowed to be employed as a civil servant.

Paragraph 9 of Article 10 of the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Investigation and Political Examination of People's Police by Zhejiang Public Security Organs stipulates that it is not suitable to be employed as a people's police if it is verified during the investigation and political examination that there are spouses, lineal relatives or close relatives sentenced to death or for endangering national security, or if they are serving sentences for other crimes.

Article 6, paragraph 5, of the Measures for Public Security Organs to Recruit People's Police also stipulates that those who have lineal blood relatives and collateral blood relatives who have great influence on themselves, who are sentenced to death or are serving sentences, may not apply for the People's Police.
