Chi Jisheng, a lawyer in Qiqihar, started practicing in the 1980s and is a rare NPC representative in the lawyer field. She has been placed in the northeast corner. At the beginning of the "Beihai case", the lawyers who supported him encountered many difficulties and repression in the local area. Chi Jisheng couldn't sit still and flew from the northeast to Guangxi. She was worried when she saw a lawyer being besieged and wounded by an unknown person, and said, "I have to die." Since then, Yang Xuelin has left an impression of "stuttering" on the Northeast dialect.
At the beginning of 20 12, "Li Qinghong's crime of cracking down on criminals" occurred in Guiyang, involving more than 50 defendants involved in 27 crimes. The situation is getting worse and worse. Zhou Ze, the first lawyer involved, appealed to lawyers from all over the country for help. In the end, 88 local and foreign lawyers appeared in court to defend the case, which lasted more than 40 days before and after the trial, making it the first large-scale criminal trial in China.
When the "Li Qinghong case" was first heard in Guiyang, the weather was unusually cold, but the trial process was more rigid. At the beginning of the trial, the defense lawyer pointed out that the identity of the public prosecutor designated by the superior was illegal and asked for withdrawal. Under the stalemate, a morning passed and the prosecutor did not even read the indictment. At lunch, Chi Jisheng anxiously said to Yang Xuelin, "I am determined to die in this matter."
A word became a prophecy. When the trial continued that afternoon, the lawyer continued to apply to the prosecutor for withdrawal and remained deadlocked until the end of the trial that day. The next day, the presiding judge announced at the beginning that he rejected the application for withdrawal the day before. The lawyer immediately protested and asked for reconsideration, but the presiding judge ignored it and asked the prosecutor to read the indictment. Some lawyers couldn't hold back and stood up to protest. Finally, the presiding judge ordered the bailiff to expel Leo, Liu Zhiqiang and Yang Mingyuan from the court, and admonished several lawyers.
Until the fifth day of the trial, lawyer Chi Jisheng strongly protested that the presiding judge had interrupted the process of excluding illegal evidence without reason, and was also ordered to be expelled from the court. Facing the surrounded bailiff, she was emotional, her blood pressure rose, she fell to the ground and was taken to the hospital for rescue. This scene became the most vivid display of "death".
After the "Li Qinghong case", the word "dead knock" appeared in Yang Xuelin's Weibo and blogs. 20 13 February, when lawyers such as Chen Guangwu, Yang Xuelin and Liu Zhiqiang who died in the "Li Qinghong case" handled the "Guisong case" in Jiangxi, Jiang Wei sent a Weibo and jokingly said, "You are dead, and you have to start a new case again. It is better to appoint you as a dead hacker. "
Liu Zhiqiang joked that "not everyone can be a hardcore, so we need a certification". Yang Jinzhu immediately said that he would set up an expert appraisal center of De Ke Pai lawyers, and plausibly wrote a "Description on the Proposed Establishment of China De Ke Pai Criminal Defense Lawyers Appraisal Center", and planned to invite well-known lawyers such as Germany, France and Sri Lanka to serve as expert jury. But in Yang Xuelin's view, Yang Jinzhu's "Young's Knife Method" has always been a myth, purely for fun, "and no one mentioned the certification later".
Soon after, Yang Xuelin sent a Weibo. According to the defense style, criminal defense lawyers in China can be divided into three types: dead defense, formal defense and conciliation defense. The latter two refer to defense lawyers who go through the motions and lawyers who solve problems through behind-the-scenes mixing. Since then, most lawyers who have participated in Li Zhuang case, Beihai case, Changshu case and Xiaohe case are regarded as hardcore lawyers.
