What is the current situation of China's lawyer industry?

Current situation of lawyer industry:

First, the embarrassment of "novice"

It is very hard for young people to become lawyers for the first time, and it takes a lot of perseverance to persist. Basically, the first year is difficult. They are lonely, lonely and at a loss ... Their mood is very complicated, and they need to adjust their mentality to deal with it.

Second, the length of the "transition period"

Starting from the internship, it basically takes three to five years. Of course, if you work hard and get lucky, the transition period may only take two years.

Generally speaking, after the transition period, the income of lawyers can exceed the average income of white-collar workers in their cities; But for a lawyer, the years after the transition period are crucial years, and the extent to which he can do it in the future mainly depends on these years; Basically, for a lawyer, it should be hopeless if you can't do it within 10.

Third, about the gap between the rich and the poor of lawyers.

According to lawyers in Tianjin, on the whole, lawyers with annual income over 60% have 15-20%, 200,000-500,000 have 10% and 780,000 have 10%. Take our case as an example. There are about five or six professional lawyers with an annual income of over one million, only tens of thousands a year.

Fourth, the income of young lawyers.

There are many young lawyers in our firm. About 30 years old, I have been a lawyer for more than 3 years, and my income is basically around 6.5438+0.5 million. Like our big brother, there is also a 95-level brother whose income is estimated to be between 6.5438+0.5-0.2 million. He is still studying in Nankai, and his income this year is estimated to be 60,000 to 70,000.

5. As for the future of lawyers, I personally think it is a promising career.

There are several reasons: 1 Now there are more and more ordinary civil and criminal cases, and the legalization of dispute resolution is being expanded by Chinese people; This provides conditions for new lawyers to support themselves. "No major case, no minor case" is enough to support themselves.

In general civil cases, the object of litigation is getting bigger and bigger, even if there is no property dispute, the charge is about 3000 yuan. And now there are many property disputes, and even divorce often involves real estate. At present, the house price is generally more than 400,000 yuan, so the charge for divorce cases is likely to be more than 10000 yuan, involving companies and enterprises. The amount of the bid is basically more than several hundred thousand yuan, and a case is tens of thousands of yuan.

There are more and more non-litigation businesses, which is a new and growing business market, such as the disposal of unfinished buildings, corporate restructuring, enterprise restructuring and so on. And the charge is not small, like the two projects we are currently doing, the charge is around 700 thousand.

In addition, there is a law firm named Changshi in Tianjin, which earned 7 million yuan in the field of uncompleted residential flats this year.

Of course, this requires lawyers to have the ability to develop new business, which is both a challenge and an opportunity for new lawyers. The old business field has almost been occupied by old lawyers, and the competition in the new field is relatively fair.

According to my observation, the new profession of lawyer will continue to emerge. At present, the domestic lawyer industry in China is in the development stage, far from saturation; The new business provides good development space and opportunities for new lawyers.
