Records of criminal punishment can be found in public security organs, procuratorates and courts, and those sentenced to probation can also be found in the Judicial Bureau. Records of administrative detention shall be kept by local public security organs. However, the above-mentioned "criminal records" are not open to anyone, and relevant records can only be provided to the outside world after the judicial organs or lawyers report to the competent authorities for approval.
