Main responsibilities:

7. Organize and implement security work for party and state leaders and important foreign guests.
8. Organize and implement public security science and technology work; plan public security informatization and criminal technology construction. Formulate standards and systems for police support such as equipment, clothing, and funding for public security agencies.
9. Organize exchanges and business cooperation with foreign countries, Interpol and the police in Hong Kong, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan, and implement international treaties and cooperation agreements.
10. Unify the leadership of the construction of public security border defense, firefighting, and guard forces, and provide leadership and command to the Armed Police Headquarters in carrying out public security tasks and related business construction.
