Introduction to undergraduate majors
Law majors train specialized legal talents who have legal literacy, are familiar with China's legal system and can comprehensively use legal knowledge to analyze and solve problems. The major of Chinese Language and Literature trains senior professionals who have a certain literary theoretical accomplishment and systematic knowledge of Chinese language and literature, master the basic knowledge of Chinese and China literature, and are trained by relevant professional qualities. Graduates can engage in news editing, literary creation, teaching, secretarial work, publicity and cultural exchanges with foreign countries in enterprises and institutions such as journalism, literature and art, and educational institutions. The main courses of this major are: Modern Chinese, Ancient Chinese, Introduction to Linguistics, Ancient Literature of China, Modern and Contemporary Literature of China, Foreign Literature, Introduction to Literature and Writing.
Journalism majors cultivate advanced applied talents with good moral awareness and strong social adaptability by mastering news theoretical knowledge and business skills such as news gathering, writing, editing, evaluation, photography, website design and production. Graduates can engage in editing, news, creativity, planning and management in news, publishing, publicity, public relations and advertising departments. The main courses of this major are: introduction to journalism, Chinese and foreign journalism history, news interview and writing, news editing and commentary, selected reading of Marxist-Leninist news works, selected reading of literary works, mass communication, news laws and regulations and professional ethics, photojournalism, radio and television, media management, advertising and public relations.
