Why do law students call lawyers instead of wizards?

Law is a public code, which tends to be abstract and principled; The law is the interpretation of the law, which is biased towards concreteness and implementation. Law is generally superior, such as "judge" and "code", and "law" is lower than the traditional "law".

In Buddhism, "Dharma" refers more to precepts. Later, because the official codes of various dynasties called it "law" (such as Qin Law, Han Law, Da Tang Law, Da Ming Law and Qing Law), in the Qing Dynasty, people gradually called people who were good at explaining laws and legal contents "lawyers".

For the first time, Xue Fucheng, Li Hongzhang's diplomatic adviser and former ambassador to Britain, France and Italy, called modern legal professionals "lawyers". For the first time in the history of China, the existence and functions of lawyers were formally stipulated in the law of 1906. At that time, Shen Jiaben, a great jurist, Zheng Qing of Dali Academy (President of the Supreme Court), Right Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Justice (Deputy Minister of Justice) and Vice President of the Senior Council (and Vice Premier of the State Council) formally introduced "lawyer" into the criminal and civil procedure law of the Qing Dynasty.

From the relationship between "Fa" and "Fa", we find that it is more appropriate for "Judge" to be called "Master" than "Lawyer", just as "Master" has a staff and "Judge" has a hammer. But "judge" is not called "mage" for two reasons: one is to avoid ambiguity, and the other is to maintain the seriousness of this profession.
