There are no lawyers in court. The court is the judicial organ, the lawyer's practice institution is the law firm, and the competent department is the local judicial bureau, which is completely different. The people's court is the national judicial organ in People's Republic of China (PRC). People's Republic of China (PRC) has established special people's courts such as the Supreme People's Court, local people's courts at various levels and military courts. The responsibilities of lawyers include the following:

Lawyers' practice should be supervised by the state, society and the parties concerned. Lawyers' legal practice is protected by law, and no organization or individual may infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of lawyers.

Article 4 The judicial administrative department shall supervise and guide lawyers, law firms and lawyers' associations in accordance with this Law.
