The second case was the robbery of a cash transport truck in Panyu, Guangzhou in 1995: In June 1995, the defendant, Chen Ennian, and accomplices He Weiguang, He Yongxin, Yuan, and He Donghai (all executed) and others planned to rob a bank with guns. The gang robbed a Guangdong AR0747 cash transport truck on February 22, resulting in the police officer Guo Guo who was escorting the cash transport truck being shot dead on the spot, and the driver Xu was slightly injured. Chen Yumin later absconded with some stolen money under the pseudonym Chen Ennian. Chen Yaomin and others * * * stole 1,321,602 yuan in cash.

Chen Yaomin and Chen Ennian disappeared after absconding and were not brought to justice until 21 years after the incident. On December 25, 2016, Chen Ennian surrendered in Yunnan. On January 5, 2017, Chen Yaomin was arrested in Ruili, Yunnan.
