Is English important to lawyers?

Depends on which direction you choose, counselor.

If it is foreign affairs, of course it is important.

For ordinary criminal and civil lawsuits in China, Band 6 is enough.

However, I personally think that professional English is also a skill that should be mastered. Whether it is practical or academic promotion, it needs a certain language ability as a support to expand a greater cause.

Lawyers in foreign-related economy earn a lot of money, but the competition is fierce. Now many law school students or lawyers coming back from abroad are eating this bowl of rice.
