Don't be afraid if you don't break the law!
Recently, a similar scam has appeared in Qingyuan City, and the swindlers' means have been "upgraded" again. On September 1 day, Ms. Deng of Liannan County received a phone call claiming to be a procuratorate, claiming that someone fraudulently used Ms. Deng's ID card to handle bank card fraud. Now Ms. Deng is included in the arrest list of the procuratorate and wants to freeze Ms. Deng's bank card and provide the website. When Ms. Deng was browsing the website, she found that she had her own "wanted order".
In fact, this is all forged by scammers. When she saw the arrest warrant with her name written on it, Ms. Deng was shocked and asked the "prosecutor" for help. The other party told Ms. Deng that she could help transfer Ms. Deng's money to a safe account for protection. The police said that documents such as "arrest warrant" will not be published online, and there will be no so-called "safe account".
The public security bureau, the procuratorate and the court will never use the telephone to carry out case investigation, nor will they provide so-called safe accounts by calling the masses or mailing some subpoenas. Since telecommunications and the telephones in the public security and court systems are not the same switchboard, transferring calls is actually cheating you. People who call themselves police officers of the court or public security bureau can be identified as liars, and citizens can call 1 10 to report the case.
