Ganzhou Intermediate People's Court now has offices, political department, filing court, criminal court I, criminal court II, civil court I, civil court II, civil court III, civil court IV, administrative court (co-located with compensation committee), trial court, executive board, research room, judicial police detachment, judicial technology department, judicial administrative equipment management office, supervision room and other institutions. It has jurisdiction over 9 grass-roots courts in Ruijin, Xingguo, zhanggong district, Ganxian, Shangyou, Chongyi, Nankang, Dayu, Xinfeng, Longnan, Quannan, Dingnan, Anyuan, Xunwu, Du Yu, Huichang, Shicheng, Ningdu and Ganzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone 19, and the grass-roots courts have dispatched 66 people's courts. At present, there are 147 central political and legal personnel and 1 serving judges and other staff in the municipal intermediate court, of which 62.3% have bachelor's degree or above and 7.2% have master's degree. Ganzhou Intermediate People's Court independently exercises judicial power according to law, supervises and guides the trial work of lower courts, and is responsible and reports to Ganzhou Municipal People's Congress and its Standing Committee. Its main duties are: to try criminal, civil and administrative cases of first and second instance and cases transferred to the provincial higher people's court for trial according to law; Deciding on state compensation according to law; To hear criminal, civil and administrative cases filed by the parties for retrial and protested by the people's procuratorate in accordance with the procedure of trial supervision; To hear cases of commutation and parole according to law; Assign jurisdiction to cases with unclear jurisdiction of lower people's courts, and try cases with disputed jurisdiction according to law; To execute and coordinate the execution of legally effective judgments and rulings and cases entrusted for execution according to law, as well as cases applied for execution by state administrative organs according to law; Supervise and guide the trial work of the people's courts at lower levels; Investigate and study the difficult problems of law application and policy implementation in judicial work, put forward solutions, opinions and judicial suggestions, carry out judicial statistics, and participate in local comprehensive management; To guide the ideological and political work, education and training, legal publicity and team building of lower people's courts; Managing judges and other staff according to their functions and powers; Cooperate with the municipal organization department to manage the organization of the city's courts; To guide the financial, equipment, technology and appraisal work of the courts in the whole city, and be responsible for the management of relevant funds and materials and equipment; To lead the supervision work of the people's courts at lower levels; To undertake other tasks that should be undertaken by the intermediate people's court.
