Article 10 If a citizen has no financial difficulties and has not entrusted an agent to handle the following matters requiring representation, he or she may apply for legal aid from a legal aid agency:
(1) Requesting state compensation in accordance with the law;
(2) Requesting social insurance benefits or minimum living security benefits;
(3) Requesting pensions and relief funds;
(4) Requesting the payment of alimony, child-rearing, and child support;
(5) Requesting the payment of labor remuneration;
(6) Claiming that the cause Civil rights arising from acts of bravery and righteousness.
Article 11 If a citizen encounters any of the following circumstances during criminal proceedings, he or she may apply for legal aid from a legal aid agency:
(1) The criminal suspect is under investigation by the agency under investigation. After an interrogation or from the date when compulsory measures were taken, a lawyer was not hired due to financial difficulties;
(2) The victim of a public prosecution case, his legal representative, and close relatives will transfer the case to the investigation agency for review and prosecution From the date of transfer for review and prosecution, a lawyer has not been retained due to financial difficulties; and from the date of transfer for review and prosecution, a litigation agent has not been retained due to financial difficulties;
