Speech by leaders of diversified mediation

Dear leaders, distinguished guests: Good afternoon! First of all, I would like to thank the superior leaders for their care for our people's mediators in their busy schedules. My name is * * *, and I am a community people's mediator in the community of * * Town, Xiang 'an District. I have been engaged in people's mediation for ten years. In the past ten years, like other comrades engaged in people's mediation, the road to mediation was not smooth at first, full of difficulties and challenges. Not only did I have to pull my face down to do a good job, but I also always maintained a peaceful, steady and restless attitude. I often make self-reflection and private prosecution. I am engaged in people's mediation at the grassroots level. My primary task is to investigate and mediate contradictions and disputes and make positive contributions to maintaining the stability and harmony of the community. Therefore, I have always regarded people's mediation as the top priority in my work and life. * * * has mediated nearly 1 contradictions and disputes in the community, and tried my best to effectively avoid the occurrence of cases and mass incidents in which people were transferred to punishment. Today, I am very honored to take this opportunity to exchange my personal understanding and views on community people's mediation.

The Chinese nation has a long history, rich cultural life and simple folk customs. Although the economic and social development is advancing by leaps and bounds, there are still many villagers who stick to the old rules and have relatively weak legal awareness, especially among the elderly villagers. When a contradiction or dispute occurs, it is often difficult for both sides to sit down and talk things over calmly. Instead, they take an impulsive approach and call friends to help. Therefore, to properly solve rural contradictions and disputes, we must be as fast, accurate and ruthless as the revolutionary struggle. Small disputes will not last overnight, and major disputes will be dealt with in time, so as to catch early and catch small ones and plug loopholes.

Take a dispute this year as an example. Peng Moulin and Peng Moujian in our village have been old neighbors for decades. Peng Moulin set up a shed in the east of his home to park his motorcycle, but Peng Moujian thought it occupied his homestead. The two sides held their own opinions and had a fierce quarrel. Later, both sides called their relatives and friends. The more noisy people were, the more fierce they would fight. At this time, "fast, accurate and ruthless" will play a role. "Quick", I immediately put down my rice bowl and rushed to the scene after learning about this. I know that if I drag on, I am afraid the situation will be out of control. "Accurate", according to the information that villagers know more about and record more interpersonal relationships when they go to the door at ordinary times, screen out people who can interrupt and speak with weight between the two sides, and make key breakthroughs in the later period. "Malicious" means daring to glare directly at them and reprimand them for their wrong behavior. According to the situation that the situation has eased slightly, I will do patient ideological work for both parties, focusing on law, neighborhood relations and legal procedures, and find a balance point between the two sides. After many subsequent home visits, this dispute was finally solved satisfactorily and properly.

After many successful mediations, I know:

The most important thing in conflict investigation is to visit people frequently, know more about the situation and be aware of it.

diversified mediation and negotiation are important in finding out early and handling accurately, so as to achieve rapid deployment.

if it is successfully resolved, it is important to pay a return visit afterwards, so that everyone can abide by the law.

Enhance the ability to sum up experience, check and fill gaps, and achieve perfection.

"It's a long way to go in Xiu Yuan, so I'll go up and down for it" and "It's a good time to ride the wind and waves, and set my cloudy sail straight and bridge the deep, deep sea". These two poems are profound and thought-provoking, and I take them as my motto in mediation work, reminding myself at all times, encouraging myself at all times and embarking on the road of mediation. I always encourage myself to take the road of mediation and serve the people, that is, to have the courage to face the bleak life directly, that is, to work hard, exert my own value and live up to the ardent expectations of the villagers.

thank you!
