How do laymen get a lawyer's license?

First of all, we must pass the judicial examination and obtain the legal practice qualification certificate.

Persons who meet the following conditions may sign up for the national judicial examination.

(1) has China nationality;

(two) support the constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC), enjoy the right to vote and be elected;

(3) Having full capacity for civil conduct;

(4) a bachelor's degree in law from an institution of higher learning or a bachelor's degree in illegal studies from an institution of higher learning with legal expertise;

(5) Good conduct.

After passing the judicial examination and obtaining the legal practice qualification certificate, you can obtain the lawyer's practice certificate after practicing in a law firm for one year and passing the examination.

Article 5 of the Lawyers Law To apply for practicing as a lawyer, the following conditions shall be met:

(a) support the constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC);

(2) Having passed the national unified judicial examination;

(3) Having worked as an intern in a law firm for one year;

(4) Good conduct.

The lawyer qualification certificate obtained before the implementation of the national unified judicial examination has the same effect as the national unified judicial examination certificate when applying for lawyer practice.
