Criminal judgment generally does not send it to his family, but if the family is the defender of the suspect, it will be sent to his family.

According to the Criminal Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the provisions are as follows:

1. Article 32 A criminal suspect or defendant may entrust one or two persons as defenders in addition to exercising their right of defense. The following persons may be entrusted as defenders:

(1) lawyers;

(2) A person recommended by a people's organization or the unit to which the criminal suspect or defendant belongs;

(3) Guardians, relatives and friends of criminal suspects and defendants.

A person who has been sentenced to punishment according to law or deprived of or restricted personal freedom shall not act as a defender.

2. Article 196 A judgment shall be publicly announced.

If a verdict is pronounced in court, it shall be served on the parties concerned and the people's procuratorate that initiated the public prosecution within five days; If the sentence is pronounced on a regular basis, it shall be served on the parties concerned and the people's procuratorate that initiated the public prosecution immediately after the announcement. The written judgment shall be served on the defender and the agent ad litem.

Judgment of service mode:

1, direct delivery: direct delivery is the most common way, and it is usually given to citizens in person, and they can sign for it.

2. Service by lien: When delivered by the court, if the other party refuses to accept it, the service person will confirm the service by allowing witnesses to witness and take photos.

3. Entrusted service: If it is really difficult for the people's court directly responsible for hearing civil cases to directly serve documents to the parties due to geographical problems, it will adopt the method of entrusting other courts to serve them.

If it is delivered by post, the people's court will deliver it to the addressee by registered mail through the post office.

5. Delivery:

(1) If the addressee is a soldier, it shall be transferred through the political organ of the unit at or above the regimental level;

(2) If the person to be served is put in prison, he shall be transferred through his prison or labor reform unit;

(3) If the addressee is undergoing reeducation through labor, it shall be transferred through his reeducation through labor unit.

6. Announcement service: If the whereabouts of the parties are unknown, the announcement will be served. After the expiration of 60 days from the date of the announcement, the announcement shall be deemed to have been served.
