Article 157 stipulates:

Article 158 stipulates:
Mediation is usually once. If mediation fails once, the public security organ may mediate again if it deems it necessary or the parties apply, and it shall be completed within seven working days after the first mediation. Mediation shall make a written record.
Article 159 stipulates:
If an agreement is reached through mediation, a conciliation statement shall be made under the auspices of the public security organ, and both parties shall sign and perform the conciliation statement.
