According to the official website, Fuxian Lake, a local treasure of Chengjiang, is located between Chengjiang City and Huaning County in Jiangchuan District, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, more than 60 kilometers away from Kunming. Fuxian Lake is the first deep-water lake in Yunnan Province. Besides Tianchi, a crater lake in the Changbai Mountains in northeastern China, Fuxian Lake is the second known deep-water lake in China.
