What do you mean by foreign-related cases?

Legal analysis: 1. There are three kinds of foreign-related civil cases in China:

Article 259 The provisions of this Part shall apply to civil litigation involving foreign elements within the territory of People's Republic of China (PRC). Where there are no provisions in this part, other relevant provisions of this law shall apply.

Article 260 Where the international treaties concluded or acceded to by People's Republic of China (PRC) have different provisions from this Law, the provisions of the international treaties shall apply, except for the provisions on which People's Republic of China (PRC) has declared reservations.

Article 261 A civil lawsuit brought against a foreigner, foreign organization or international organization enjoying diplomatic privileges and immunities shall be handled in accordance with the relevant laws of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the provisions of international treaties concluded or acceded to by People's Republic of China (PRC).

Article 262 When trying civil cases involving foreign elements, the people's courts shall use the spoken and written language commonly used by the people and the state of China. Translation can be provided at the request of the parties, and the expenses shall be borne by the parties.

Article 263 If foreigners, stateless persons, foreign enterprises and organizations need to entrust a lawyer to represent them when they file a lawsuit or respond to the lawsuit in the people's court, they must entrust a lawyer from People's Republic of China (PRC).

Article 264 Where a foreigner, stateless person, foreign enterprise or organization without domicile in People's Republic of China (PRC) entrusts a lawyer or other person from People's Republic of China (PRC) to represent him in litigation, the power of attorney sent or entrusted from outside People's Republic of China (PRC) shall be authenticated by the notary office of the host country, by the embassy or consulate of People's Republic of China (PRC) in that country, or by People's Republic of China (PRC) and China.
