Zhang Qingsong, Director of Beijing Shangquan Law Firm, member of the Criminal Committee of the National Lawyers' Association, Deputy Director of the Criminal Procedure Law Committee of the Beijing Lawyers' Association, supervisor of the Master of Laws (LLM) at the Institute of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), and member of the Criminal Law Research Committee of the Beijing Municipal Law Society (BLRS). He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL).
Zhang Qingsong graduated from the Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and began to work as a full-time lawyer in 1993, and has long insisted on criminal defense as his main business. 2006, he founded Beijing Shangquan Law Firm, which is the first law firm specializing in criminal defense in China.
Successively invited to give speeches at Peking University Law School, the People's Public Security University of China, the Central University of Finance and Economics Law School, China University of Political Science and Law School of Criminal Justice, Beijing Broadcasting Institute, Stanford University Law School and other domestic and international law schools.
He has published many legal academic articles in some well-known newspapers and magazines in China, and some of his works have been included in the "Criminal Law Science Library", a major series of publications by the Criminal Law Science Research Center of Renmin University of China.
