Jishishan 1973 in Linxia, Gansu belongs to
Jishishan Baoan Dongxiang Salar Autonomous County, located in the south of Gansu Province. Jishiguan, the first male pass of the famous Hezhou 24 Pass in Ming Dynasty, is located on the bank of the Yellow River and at the foot of Jishiguan Mountain, with the famous Jishiguan Canyon in the upper reaches of the Yellow River in the west. The two mountains face each other here, and the mountains are steep. A thousand cliffs and dangerous peaks, the Yellow River rushes, rushes out of the stone gorge and flows eastward. In midsummer, the misty Jishi Mountain is like a dancing Yulong, and the majestic and steep Jishi Pass is like a jewel in the dragon's bosom, which stands out from the crowd and is fascinating. Jishiguan has been a military fortress since ancient times, and it is also the only pass of the Silk Road, the frontier of Jishiguan, the ancient crossing of the Yellow River and the frontier fortress. Merchants and pedestrians are in an endless stream. After the Ming dynasty, it became a trade stronghold between the mainland and Tibet. Jishiguan's fame mainly lies in its magical power and the legend of its strange stones leading to the river. There are dozens of miles of accumulated stone gorge, with thousands of miles of walls on both sides and rugged rocks, such as knives and axes. Legend has it that the layers of rock wall lines are gouges left by Dayu when he led the people to dredge the river. After passing through the customs and crossing the Suotun slope, there is a huge stone, 8 feet high and 7 feet wide, with sitting marks on it. According to the "Continued Guide River County Records", this stone is called Yu, where Dayu sits and lies when he is tired.
