Shadid and the murdered woman met on 20 19. At that time, Hadid lied that he was divorced and single, and then slowly became boyfriend and girlfriend with Chen Mou. Around May, 20021year, female Chen Mou repeatedly proposed to Shadid to break up, but Shadid disagreed and threatened Chen Mou in language many times.
On June 4th, 2002/KLOC-0, at around 8 pm, Shadid contacted Chen Mou in advance, brought a folding knife and some clothes with him when meeting, and then met Chen Mou at a bus stop near Ningbo, Zhejiang, and talked about it. The two sides didn't discuss it, so at 9: 48 pm, Shadid stabbed Chen Mou several times in the neck with the knife he carried with him, causing Chen Mou to lose the ability to resist, and then continued to poke Chen Mou in the face. Chen Mou finally died on the spot due to massive bleeding.
This matter has been decided in the first instance before. The Ningbo Intermediate People's Court held that Shadid's behavior constituted the crime of intentional homicide. The public security organs also believed that Shadid's criminal facts were very clear, including sufficient evidence, so he was sentenced to death. After the verdict was pronounced, Shadid refused to accept it and filed an appeal, which can be tried again in July 2022. This time, Shadid invited two defense lawyers, and some officials and representatives of the US Consulate in Shanghai also attended the audit, but the final result was an election verdict.
