Is it useful to hire a lawyer for gambling crimes?

Of course it is useful. A lawyer's exercise of the right to defend is an important way to protect one's legitimate rights and interests. Lawyers can provide opinions to the procuratorate based on the facts and evidence of the case, including what charges the procuratorate will prosecute you and the sentencing range. They can also collect evidence and review files to clear your suspicions. When you are tortured to extract a confession, the lawyer can collect evidence. The evidence obtained is submitted to the court and procuratorate, so that illegal evidence cannot be used as evidence for conviction and sentencing. In the face of public power, individuals are a vulnerable group. Having a lawyer can at least help you understand the law and protect your legitimate rights and interests from public power. It is the right given by law to criminal suspects to retain a defender. When necessary, family members can also hire a lawyer to represent them. The duty of lawyers is to present materials and opinions on the basis of facts and law that criminal suspects and defendants are innocent, have minor crimes, or reduce or exempt criminal liability, and safeguard the litigation rights and other legitimate rights and interests of criminal suspects and defendants.
