Can I take the lawyer exam if I have a history of drug abuse?

People with a history of drug abuse who have received criminal punishment cannot take the bar exam.

Measures for the examination of lawyers' qualification:

Article 6 Anyone who is under any of the following circumstances shall not register for the lawyer qualification examination. If the registration formalities have been completed, the registration shall be invalid:

(1) Having no or limited capacity for civil conduct;

(2) Having received criminal punishment for intentional crime;

(3) Being expelled from public office;

(4) Being disqualified as a lawyer.
