Employment restrictions: Persons who have been subjected to criminal punishment may not serve as judges, people's jurors, prosecutors, civil servants, lawyers, defenders, judicial appraisers, notaries, police officers, diplomats, members of village committees, auctioneers, directors, supervisors, senior managers of companies, wholly state-owned enterprises, wholly state-owned companies and state-owned capital holding companies. In the political examination of civil servants, one is to examine whether the immediate family members of candidates have criminal records. If the immediate family members have criminal records, their children will not pass the political examination of civil servants.

(1) Persons who have been subjected to criminal punishment according to law shall truthfully report to the relevant units that they have been subjected to criminal punishment during enlistment or employment, and shall not conceal it;
