How to write work plans and ideas?

First, clearly quantify your goals.

Many people have vague goals when making work plans, such as "improving business ability" and "avoiding mistakes in last year's work". This vague goal is not conducive to measuring the completion of the work plan, but also gives us an excuse to be lazy.

The correct wording should be "learning two business-related skills in my spare time: business English and growth and operation" and "checking the figures after completing the project budget and making backup and notes every time I change the contract". A clear goal will make you more aware of how to achieve it, and it will be easier to measure how much you have achieved it.

Second, follow up the progress of the work plan in time.

You can check how much your work plan has been completed every month and quarter. It is more beneficial for you to overcome a complex problem by dividing big goals into small ones. For example, we can divide the "complete development of take-away software project" into four stages: "requirement analysis, feasibility investigation, module design and test optimization".

After completing the work in each stage in a down-to-earth manner, make a simple review and summary before entering the next stage. Each stage should also have a small goal to judge how far this stage has been completed.

Third, write down your feelings in the mode of "practice+effect+experience"

When summing up afterwards, many people will focus on recording their feelings. "This project is a bit difficult" and "the process of communicating with colleagues is very happy". These focus on expressing emotional feelings, which will not be of much help to your work. Even after reading the feelings written down, I can't remember what I did at that time.

After writing the work summary and feelings, it is suggested to adopt the mode of "practice+effect+experience". For example, "In order to attract more new users to download the software, I planned an offline lottery to promote it. More than 2000 new users who haven't downloaded the software participated in this activity. I think we can rent a bigger venue for the next offline event of similar scale. "
