I owe 40,000 on my credit card. I have paid off more than 10,000 and still owe 30,000. Now at the police station, the other party’s lawyer requests to file a case. What will happen?

If you are a credit card holder and do not pay the minimum payment on time before the payment due date, you will be charged late payment fees and interest, which will affect your personal credit. The late payment fee is 5% of the outstanding portion of the minimum payment, and the minimum charge is RMB 10 or USD 1. All current purchases will be charged interest at a daily interest rate of 0.05% from the billing date (usually the next day of consumption) until you repay in full. To avoid affecting your credit, we recommend that you make your payments on time. If it's not convenient for you to repay the loan in full, make at least the minimum payment on time.
