Second, the selection conditions
(1) A citizen serving as a people's juror shall meet the following conditions:
1, support the constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC);
2, support the leadership of China * * * production party;
3. At least 28 years old;
4, law-abiding, good conduct, fair and decent;
5. Have the physical conditions to perform their duties normally.
People's jurors should generally have a high school education or above.
(2) The following persons cannot serve as people's jurors:
1. Members of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress, staff of the supervisory committee, people's courts, people's procuratorates, public security organs, state security organs and judicial administrative organs;
2. Lawyers, notaries, arbitrators and grassroots legal service workers;
3. Other persons who are not suitable for serving as people's jurors due to their positions.
(3) No one may serve as a people's juror under any of the following circumstances:
1, has been criminally punished;
2. Being expelled from public office;
3. The professional certificates of lawyers and notaries are revoked;
4. Being included in the list of people who have lost their trust;
5. Being removed from the post of people's juror due to punishment;
6, other serious violations of law and discipline, which may affect the judicial credibility.
Third, the selection process.
(1) Recommend to register and select candidates. This selection adopts a combination of "individual application", "organization recommendation" and "random selection" to produce candidates.
1, individual application. Eligible citizens can register at the towns' comprehensive management offices. Personal application needs to fill in the Personal Application Form for People's Jurors, and submit a copy of personal ID card, a copy of academic certificate and three recent bareheaded color photos 1 inch. 2. Organize recommendation. Eligible citizens can be recommended by grassroots mass autonomous organizations and social organizations where they belong, where they have their registered permanent residence and where they often live. Organization recommendation needs to fill in the recommendation form of people's jury unit, and submit a copy of the recommended person's ID card, a copy of academic certificate and three recent bareheaded color photos 1 inch. 3. Random sampling. The District Comprehensive Management Office, together with the District People's Court and the District Public Security Bureau, randomly selected 40 people's jury candidates from the permanent population of the High-tech Zone.
(2) qualification examination. The District Comprehensive Management Office shall, jointly with the District People's Court and the District Public Security Bureau, conduct qualification examination on the candidates of people's jurors recommended by various units, and determine the candidates to be appointed as people's jurors according to the qualification examination.
(3) Submitting applications for appointment and training. Candidates for people's jurors determined after publicity shall be submitted by the President of the District People's Court to the Standing Committee of Nanchang County People's Congress for appointment. After the appointment, the District People's Court will organize pre-job training, and they will formally take up their posts after passing the training.
(4) oath of office. Appointed by the Standing Committee of Nanchang County People's Congress, people's jurors were publicly sworn in. The swearing-in ceremony shall be organized by the District People's Court in conjunction with the District Comprehensive Management Office.
Matters not covered in this announcement shall be interpreted by the Comprehensive Management Office of High-tech Zone, the People's Court of High-tech Zone and the Public Security Bureau of High-tech Zone.
