For poor young people who meet the provisions of Articles 10 and 11 of the "Legal Aid Regulations" and local regulations on the scope of legal aid, the Youth League Committee can help contact them with necessary legal aid.

Article 10 Citizens who have not entrusted an attorney may apply for legal aid from a legal aid agency for the following matters that require representation due to financial difficulties:

(1) Request state compensation in accordance with the law;

(2) Requesting social insurance benefits or minimum living security benefits;

(3) Requesting pensions and relief funds;

(4) Requesting Paying alimony, child support, and support;

(5) Requesting payment of labor remuneration;

(6) Claiming civil rights and interests arising from acts of bravery for justice. The people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government may make supplementary provisions on legal aid matters other than those specified in the preceding paragraph. Citizens may apply for legal consultation from legal aid agencies on matters specified in paragraphs 1 and 2 of this article.

Article 11 In criminal proceedings, citizens may apply for legal aid to legal aid agencies under any of the following circumstances:

(1) The criminal suspect is under investigation by the agency After the first interrogation or from the date when compulsory measures were taken, the victim did not hire a lawyer due to financial difficulties;

(2) The victim of the public prosecution case and his legal representative or close relatives shall be transferred from the case to review and prosecution Since the date of acceptance of the private prosecution case by the People's Court, the private prosecutor and his legal agent have not appointed a litigation agent due to financial difficulties.
