I didn't commit a crime, but I signed a confession.

Legal analysis: signing a confession shows that you admit your illegal and criminal behavior. Confessions are confessions made by the parties concerned and written by public security personnel. After writing, the parties can check it. After the record is true, it shall be confirmed by the parties according to their fingerprints. After signing the confession and repentance, the procuratorate will file a public prosecution with the court. If a criminal suspect or defendant voluntarily confesses his crime truthfully, has no objection to the alleged criminal facts, agrees with the sentencing proposal and signs a written statement, he may be lenient according to law.

Fifteenth criminal suspects and defendants voluntarily truthfully confess their crimes, admit the facts of the alleged crimes, and are willing to accept punishment, which can be given a lighter punishment according to law.

Article 174 If a criminal suspect voluntarily pleads guilty and agrees to apply sentencing suggestions and procedures, he shall sign a confession and repentance in the presence of a defender or a lawyer on duty.

If a criminal suspect pleads guilty and admits punishment, it is not necessary to sign a confession and repentance book under any of the following circumstances:

(1) The criminal suspect is a mental patient who is blind, deaf, dumb or has not completely lost the ability to recognize or control his own behavior;

(two) the legal representative or defender of the juvenile criminal suspect has any objection to the juvenile's confession and punishment;

(3) Other circumstances in which it is not necessary to sign a confession and repentance.
