How to take the bar exam?

Paper 1: comprehensive knowledge. Including: socialist concept of the rule of law, jurisprudence, legal history, constitutional law, economic law, international law, international private law, international economic law, legal ethics and professional responsibility; exam time: 8:30-11:30.

Test paper two: criminal and administrative legal system. Including: Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Administrative Law and Administrative Procedure Law; examination time: 14:00-17:00.

Paper III: Civil and Commercial Legal System. Including: civil law, commercial law, civil procedure law (including arbitration system); examination time: 8:30-11:30.

Test paper 4: examples (case) analysis, judicial documents, exposition. Including: subjects listed in Paper I, II, III. Examination time: 14:00-17:30. From 2009, the national judicial examination paper I, paper IV, including the socialist concept of the rule of law and other related content. The aforementioned test paper one, test paper two, test paper three for machine-readable multiple-choice questions, of which each volume has 50 single-choice questions, each question 1 point, 40 multiple-choice questions, each question 2 points, indeterminate choice of 10 questions, each question 2 points, *** counting 150 points; test paper four for the subjective questions, including a short answer questions, 5-6 case study questions and expository questions.

Educational requirements: a bachelor's degree or above in law from an institution of higher learning, or a bachelor's degree or above in other majors with legal expertise from an institution of higher learning.

1. People who meet the following conditions can register for the national judicial examination:

(a) have the nationality of the Chinese People's Republic of China;

(b) uphold the Constitution of the Chinese People's Republic of China, and enjoy the right to vote and the right to stand for election;

(c) have the capacity for full civil behavior;

(d) conform to the Judges Law, the Prosecutors Law, and the Law on the Judges and Prosecutors, and the Law on the Judges. Law, the Law on Public Prosecutors and the Law on Lawyers in terms of academic and professional qualifications;

(e) be of good character.

According to the Opinions of the Ministry of Justice on Determining the Places to Relax the Academic Requirements for Enrollment in the National Judicial Examinations (SZG [2002] No. 2), autonomous counties (banners) under the jurisdiction of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government, counties (banners) under the jurisdiction of autonomous regions, counties under the jurisdiction of autonomous prefectures; counties approved and determined by the State Council to be the national poverty-alleviation and development priority counties; and municipalities, districts, counties, and county-level cities under the Tibet Autonomous Region, municipal districts, may relax the educational requirement for registration to the degree of law specialty in higher education institutions.

The aforementioned institutions of higher learning, according to Article 68 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Higher Education, refer to universities, independently established colleges and colleges of higher learning, which include higher vocational schools and adult schools of higher learning.

Holders of academic degrees from institutions of higher learning in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and foreign countries may apply for the examination.
