1, the difference between a lawyer and a judge is:
(1) Their work purposes are different. Judges work for the country, and lawyers work for themselves because of money.
(2) They have different ways of thinking. The judge thinks from the perspective of justice, and the lawyer thinks from the perspective of his client;

The duties of a judge:
(a) to participate in the collegial panel or to hear criminal, civil and administrative litigation and state compensation cases separately according to law;
(2) Handling extradition and judicial assistance cases according to law;

Lawyers can generally be divided into:
1, civil lawyer. Mainly solve the problems of contract, infringement, marriage and family disputes, inheritance disputes and so on;
2. Criminal lawyers. Refers to lawyers whose main business is to provide legal services for criminal cases;
3. Administrative lawyer. Mainly solve the problem of administrative punishment, administrative measures, administrative organs and staff dissatisfied with their functions and powers;
4. part-time lawyer. Engaged in legal education in colleges and universities or engaged in legal research in scientific research institutes, and engaged in lawyer work in law firms.
