Character Experience, Yang XiongYang Xiong is an associate professor of Criminal Legal Science and Law School of Beijing Normal University, a Doctor of Laws, and a master's tutor. Visiting scholar at New York University School of Law. He graduated from the Economic Law Department of China University of Political Science and Law in July 2001 with a Bachelor of Laws degree. In September 2001, he was admitted to Peking University Law School to study for a master's degree in litigation law. In June 2003, he was approved by Peking University to continue his studies. He graduated from Peking University Law School in July 2006 and received a doctorate in law. From August 2006 to present, he teaches at the Institute of Criminal Legal Science and Law School of Beijing Normal University. He is currently an associate professor and master's tutor at the Institute of Criminal Legal Science and Law School of Beijing Normal University. He is mainly engaged in research on criminal procedure law, evidence law, and judicial systems. From August 2009 to 2010, he served as Assistant Prosecutor General of the People’s Procuratorate of Fangshan District, Beijing.
