How long will it take for the case to come out in the procuratorate?

Generally, the results will be available in less than a month, so just wait for the results. If the public security organ applies to the procuratorate for approval of arrest, the procuratorate shall make a decision on whether to approve the arrest within seven days. If the procuratorate does not approve the arrest, the public security organ shall immediately release it on the same day.

Can family members read the volume at the prosecution stage of the procuratorate?

No one can watch it except the defenders.

1. Article 38 of the Criminal Procedure Law: From the date when the people's procuratorate examines and prosecutes the case, the defense lawyer may consult, extract and copy the case file. Other defenders may also consult, extract and copy the above materials with the permission of the people's court or the people's procuratorate.

2. Criminal cases are divided into three stages: public security investigation, procuratorate examination and prosecution, and court trial. The above-mentioned laws specifically mean that defenders have the right to consult and copy files in the second stage and the prosecution stage of the procuratorate;

3. No one other than the defender is allowed to view or copy the case file, so as not to affect the normal criminal proceedings. For example, some defendants' families will try to perjure themselves and retaliate against witnesses after consulting the file;

4. After the file is copied, can the defender consult or copy it for the defendant's family? It is not allowed in principle. Defense lawyers should abide by the relevant confidentiality obligations, and some materials and contents that need to be kept confidential cannot be told to their families. However, the legal provisions on this issue are not clear. (In the past, a lawyer in Qinyang City, Henan Province left a case file for the defendant's family. At the first trial, he was found guilty of intentionally revealing state secrets and sentenced to one year in prison. After the second trial, he was acquitted. )
