The work-related injuries recognized in China generally refer to accidental injuries that occur in the course of work, but also include occupational injuries. According to the Regulations on Work-related Injury Insurance, an employee who dies of sudden illness during working hours and jobs or dies after being rescued within 48 hours is also regarded as a work-related injury.
If the unit does not apply for work-related injury identification within 30 days, the family members may apply for work-related injury identification within one year from the date of the accident or the date of diagnosis.
It is best to consult the Labor and Social Security Bureau for specific work-related injuries.
