On the afternoon of August 1 1, 2006, Cui Yingjie clashed with Li Zhiqiang, deputy detachment leader of Haidian Branch of Haidian Urban Management Brigade, and his colleagues. Cui Yingjie stabbed Li Zhiqiang with a knife and later died. Cui Yingjie then fled.
