What do you wear to court? What's the difference between a lawyer wearing leather shoes for formal wear and sneakers for casual wear?

The court is about to open. As a lawyer, what are you going to wear to court? In fact, there are only two kinds, one is to wear formal clothes and the other is to wear casual clothes. Which is better? What is the difference?

As legal professionals, lawyers should refer to the dress code of judges and prosecutors.

As an important member and deep participant in the judicial system and judicial process, lawyers' status has gradually received due attention. As a lawyer, I am deeply involved in it, which is very gratifying. Judges and prosecutors are civil servants. They were born in the early days of the People's Republic of China, when the military and police were integrated. Before that, they still wore hats and epaulettes. Later, in order to erase the imprint of the army and conform to the practice of the international community, our judges and prosecutors changed their uniforms. Judges wear robes when trying cases, and prosecutors wear uniforms to appear in court to support public prosecution. Lawyers also have special court clothes-lawyers' robes. Every year, the judicial system issues a notice to the Bar Association to uniformly order court clothes. Only under the current circumstances, the penetration rate is not too high. It is reported that the courts in Beijing have specific requirements for lawyers to dress in court.

"Lawyers should safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the parties, the correct implementation of the law, and social fairness and justice." -great responsibility and glorious mission

The second paragraph of Article 2 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Lawyers Law stipulates that "lawyers should safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the parties, the correct implementation of the law and social fairness and justice." This is the sacred mission and duty of lawyers. In today's construction process of "China ruled by law and society ruled by law", lawyers play an indispensable and irreplaceable role. Therefore, as a lawyer, we must have a sense of professional identity, mission and responsibility, which cannot be equal to or even lower than the requirements of ordinary people. After all, we have studied the law, and we should understand the law and abide by the rules. As early as 2003, the Administrative Measures for the Use of Lawyers' Clothing in Court clearly stipulated that lawyers must wear lawyers' clothing when they act as defenders and agents to participate in court trials. Therefore, we should put on and use the lawyer's robe instead of just hanging it up. From my own point of view, I am very willing to wear a lawyer's robe to attend the trial, because it is not only stipulated by law, but also a good way to give myself confidence, responsibility and mission. Maybe I still have a uniform complex, especially in court, when judges wear robes, prosecutors wear uniforms, and lawyers will be more solemn, solemn and standardized if they also wear robes. When the people's court is in session, I also suggest that the attorneys of both parties wear robes, which is our qualification to appear in court and wear after passing the national judicial examination. Why not use them?

Of course, if you don't wear a lawyer's robe, you must wear formal clothes, not casual clothes.

As the agent of the client, a lawyer must pay attention to dress when representing the client in court. If a lawyer appears in court in sneakers and casual clothes, it will give people a feeling of inattention. In particular, judges and prosecutors are all in formal attire, and lawyers are all in casual clothes, which is virtually overwhelmed by momentum. Besides, our client also wants his lawyer to wear a suit and tie in Kan Kan, instead of casually dressing. After all, casual clothes and sneakers are really not suitable for such a solemn occasion as the palace. In fact, as a lawyer, with the source of the case, the income can be guaranteed. Then be sure to have a formal suit, especially when you appear in court. Be sure to start by wearing a formal suit and stick to it.
