The people's courts shall follow the principles of legality, truthfulness and standardization when broadcasting live, recording and playing pictures, words, audio and video of cases heard in public through television, internet or other public media systems. The people's court can choose cases that are highly concerned by the public, have great social influence and have the significance of legal publicity and education to conduct live and recorded trials. In the following cases, live and recorded broadcasts of court hearings are not allowed:
(a) cases involving state secrets, commercial secrets, personal privacy, juvenile delinquency and other cases that are not tried in public according to law;
(2) The procuratorial organ clearly put forward that the trial should not be broadcast live or recorded, and there are justified criminal cases;
(three) the parties clearly put forward the civil and administrative cases without live broadcast or recording of the trial and with justified reasons;
(four) other cases that are not suitable for live broadcast or recording in court.

Article 188 The people's courts shall hear cases of first instance in public. However, cases involving state secrets or personal privacy shall not be heard in public; Cases involving commercial secrets may be heard in private upon the application of the parties.
For cases that are not heard in public, the reasons for not hearing in public shall be announced in court.

Article 285 A case in which the defendant is under the age of 18 at the time of trial shall not be heard in public. However, with the consent of the minor defendant and his legal representative, the school to which the minor defendant belongs and the minor protection organization may send representatives to be present.
