Problems existing in China's lawyer law at present

1. the publicity of the lawyer law is not enough.

It is mainly manifested in less staged and centralized publicity, less regular and extensive publicity, more publicity by competent departments, less joint publicity by multiple departments, and insufficient depth and breadth of publicity work. Some administrative departments and the public are not well aware of the Lawyers Law. Some leading cadres and relevant personnel do not understand the lawyer system, but have a one-sided understanding of the lawyer's functions and practice activities.

2. The overall development of the legal profession is not balanced enough.

The number of law firms and lawyers in our district is insufficient, and the development is unbalanced: First, there are only 2 law firms and 28 lawyers in 683 villages (communities) in our district; Second, there are more litigious businesses, less non-litigious businesses, more lawyers in traditional businesses such as civil and commercial cases and criminal cases, and fewer lawyers in high-end business areas such as finance, securities, intellectual property protection and anti-dumping, and lawyer training needs to be strengthened.

3. The role of lawyers in promoting the construction of a government ruled by law needs to be further strengthened.

At present, lawyers in our district serve the government's rule of law construction by participating in politics, receiving letters and visits from leaders, and serving as legal advisers, but the breadth and depth of lawyers' participation are not enough, the work funds are not enough, and the enthusiasm of lawyers is not fully mobilized.

4. The professional quality of a few lawyers is not high.

Lawyers' personal overall situation consciousness and legal consciousness are not strong. Instead of delving into business, they try to achieve their personal goals by building networks and finding ways. Individual lawyers unilaterally pursue economic interests and harm the legitimate rights and interests of the parties. A few lawyers lack professional quality, which leads to problems such as irregular practice and weak sense of responsibility.
