Shandong Judicial Police Vocational College was founded in 1982, formerly known as Shandong Judicial School and Shandong Law School. In 2006, with the approval of the Shandong Provincial People's Government and the record of the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to an ordinary higher vocational college, and the management system was dominated by the Shandong Provincial Department of Justice and the Shandong Provincial Department of Education. It is the only judicial police vocational college in the province. The college has two campuses, Jinan and Zhangqiu, covering an area of more than 550 mu, with a total construction area of 78,000 square meters. Jinan campus is mainly used for pilot class teaching and industry education and training, with an annual training scale of more than 7,000 person-times; Zhangqiu Campus is used for running higher vocational education with 5600 students. The college has 3 departments, 4 teaching departments and 9 majors (including professional direction). Legal affairs, judicial police and criminal execution are provincial specialties, among which legal affairs and judicial police are also key construction specialties of the central government, and the two professional teaching teams are rated as provincial teaching teams.
