Does criminal detention affect children's participation in the army?

1. Does detention affect children's joining the army?

Detention generally does not affect children's joining the army.

It has nothing to do with whether parents are under administrative detention. Only when parents have received criminal punishment and left a criminal record will they have a certain impact on their children.

Legal basis: Article 26 of the Civil Service Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the following persons shall not be employed as civil servants:

(1) Having received criminal punishment for committing a crime;
