Dujiangyan Civil Affairs Bureau is the working department of Dujiangyan Municipal People's Government. To undertake the commendation duties entrusted by the Ministry of Civil Affairs to guide grassroots mass autonomous organizations and community organization cadres.

(six) take the lead in formulating the province's social assistance planning, policies and standards, improve the urban and rural social assistance system, and be responsible for the minimum living security, medical assistance, temporary assistance and life assistance for urban and rural residents.

(7) to formulate the policies for the administration of administrative divisions in the whole province, administrative boundaries and measures for the administration of place names, and to be responsible for the examination and approval of the establishment, revocation, change and relocation of government stations in the administrative regions above townships and towns in the whole province, as well as the naming and renaming of place names. Organize and guide the demarcation and management of administrative boundaries in the province, mediate disputes over administrative boundaries, issue standard place names, and standardize the setting and management of place name signs.

(eight) to formulate and guide the implementation of the province's urban and rural grassroots autonomy and community construction policies, guide the construction of community service system, put forward suggestions to strengthen and improve the construction of urban and rural grassroots political power, guide village (neighborhood) committees to carry out democratic elections, democratic decision-making, democratic management and democratic supervision, and promote the construction of grassroots democratic politics.

(9) To formulate the development plans, policies and standards of social welfare undertakings in the province, formulate measures for the management of social welfare institutions and guide their implementation, organize the formulation of policies to promote charity, be responsible for the management of welfare lottery tickets, organize and guide social donations, guide the protection of the rights and interests of special groups such as the elderly, orphans and the disabled, and be responsible for the management of the prosthetic industry.

(10) to formulate policies for the management of marriage, funeral and child adoption and organize their implementation, to be responsible for promoting the reform of marriage and funeral customs, to guide the management of marriage, funeral and rescue service institutions, and to be responsible for the registration of foreign-related marriages and foreign-related adoptions in the province.

(eleven) in conjunction with the relevant departments to develop the province's social work development plans, policies and professional norms, and promote the construction of social work talents and related volunteers.

(twelve) to guide and supervise the use and management of civil affairs funds, and to be responsible for the statistical management of civil affairs.

(thirteen) to undertake the relevant administrative examination and approval items announced by the provincial government.
