Criminal justice and criminology
American criminology is usually subdivided into three majors: police, law and crime correction. The research content covers terrorism, victim research, drug rehabilitation, computer crime, crime investigation, prison management, female criminal justice, ethics, law and so on.
Basic knowledge: humanities; Graduated from ordinary high school, interested in politics and fond of adventure.
Employment: About half of the students work in the relevant departments of the federal, state and local governments or the military, such as police station, FBI, border defense and customs. About13 students work in private institutions, such as working as legal assistants in law firms, assisting in the investigation of criminal cases, and processing, collecting and sorting out relevant evidence, material evidence, testimony and documents.
