Matters needing attention in inquiring lawyer qualification certificate:
1. Regular lawyers registered in the country all have a lawyer's practice license with a red cover, and all have their own practice license numbers, which are unified throughout the country and do not repeat like ID numbers. The lawyer's practice license needs to be registered once a year, and the unregistered lawyer's practice license is invalid.
2. If the lawyer's identity is unknown, you can ask the lawyer to provide his "Lawyer's Practice Certificate" to see if he has this certificate and whether he was registered in that year; In addition, you can also call the local judicial department or log on to the website of the local judicial department. 3. The lawyer's business card must be printed with the name and address of the law firm, as well as the lawyer's name, practice license number and contact telephone number. A lawyer's business card shall not be printed with lawyer's experience, professional and technical positions or other titles. If the lawyer's business card is not printed with the lawyer's practice license number or the office address does not match with the business card address, or the business card is printed with prohibited contents such as lawyer's experience, professional and technical positions or other titles, please identify it carefully and be vigilant to avoid being fooled.
4. According to the Law on Lawyers, a lawyer is a practitioner who obtains a lawyer's practice certificate according to law and provides legal services to the society. A person who has not obtained a lawyer's practice certificate shall not practice in the name of a lawyer, nor shall he engage in litigation agency or defense business for the purpose of seeking economic benefits. That is to say, only those who hold lawyer's practice license are lawyers, and those who hold lawyer's qualification certificate or legal professional qualification certificate or enterprise legal consultant certificate or legal service worker's certificate or legal personnel's practice certificate are not lawyers;
5. Lawyers must receive professional ethics, practice discipline and professional knowledge training every year (not less than 40 hours), and their lawyer's practice certificate must be registered every year. Those who fail to pass the annual registration of lawyers due to unqualified training or administrative punishment are not lawyers as stipulated in the Lawyers Law.
6. A lawyer shall work (practice) in his law firm, which has only one legal practice place, and the address approved by the law firm practice certificate issued by the Provincial Department of Justice shall be the same. All law firms have practice certificates of law firms (original), which will be hung in a prominent position.
