Lanzhou section belongs to the upstream and Zhengzhou section belongs to the downstream. Between Lanzhou and Zhengzhou, Weihe River and Fenshui meet, so the water volume in Zhengzhou section is larger than that in Lanzhou.
Zhengzhou River is located in the north of Huiji District, Zhengzhou City. Today, it is called the Saussure River. It flows from Fengshuo Bridge in the north of Huiji District in the west to Xiangyun Temple Village in the east to Jia Luhe, with a total length of about 15km.
