Juror: As a jury in the trial of a case, assist the court. In China, a citizen serving as a people's juror should meet the following conditions: (1) supporting the people's constitution of China; (2) At least 23 years old; (3) Good conduct, fairness and decency; (4) being in good health. As a people's juror, you should generally have a college degree or above. A person who has been criminally punished for a crime or has been expelled from public office may not serve as a juror. People's jurors enjoy the same rights and obligations as judges in handling cases. However, people's jurors do not need to pass the judicial examination, and their appointment must also be approved by the local people's congress executive meeting. Education requires junior college or above, and the people's court will take their salary during the trial. Some people's jurors also participate in the execution of cases, and people's jurors sometimes mediate simple cases alone.

People's jurors have the right to put forward opinions and suggestions to the president or the judicial Committee under the following circumstances: the trial activities violate legal procedures; It is believed that the determination or handling of the facts of the case is indeed wrong or obviously unfair and cannot be resolved in a collegiate bench; The judge fails to perform his duties according to law; The judge has other violations of law and discipline.
