Taibai Town, located in the north of Suiyang County, is about 82 kilometers away from the county seat, with an average elevation of 1 100 meters, a length of more than 75 kilometers from north to south and a width of more than 56 kilometers from east to west, with a total area of 174 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Zheng 'an in the southeast, Tongzi County in the northwest and Qinggangtang Town in the east. West to Huangyang Town, which is one of the more remote towns in our county.
Taibai Town, formerly known as Kangping, was called Taibai Commune after liberation, and belonged to Taibai District before merging with the township. In the 1970s and 1980s, the Dahe Forest Farm under Taibai Town and Dongfeng trucks carrying timber formed an impressive transport fleet, which kept up day and night on the mountain road of three or four meters, contributing a lot of high-quality timber resources to the country's construction.
