Southwest University of Political Science and Law&; France), referred to as "western politics", is located in Chongqing. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, the earliest institution of higher learning in politics and law in New China, the first batch of national key universities after the reform and opening up, the first batch of national excellent legal talents education and training plan bases, and the first batch of national college students' cultural quality education bases.
