Tianjin Literature and History Research Institute was established on June 27th, 1953. Over the past 60 years, it has played an active role in respecting the elderly and worshipping their ancestors, preserving history and United front and friendship. The Institute of Literature and History employs 3 18 librarians, and currently has 3 librarians 100 (including 3 honorary librarians from Taiwan Province and Macau), including 28 members of democratic parties, 26 from party member and 46 people without party affiliation, with an average age of 73. Librarians are all accomplished experts, scholars and celebrities. Over the years, librarians have made great achievements in the fields of literature and history research, artistic creation, democratic supervision and overseas friendship.
The current leadership team members of Tianjin Literature and History Research Institute are Liu Zhiyong, Party Secretary, Chen Yong, Deputy Director, Ma Jing, Member of Party Group and Deputy Director, Wang Baogui, Member of Party Group and Director of Secretariat.
