According to Article 1 of the Interpretation on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Laws in Handling Criminal Cases of Theft, those who steal public or private property in an amount of more than 1,000 yuan but less than 3,000 yuan, more than 30,000 yuan but less than 100,000 yuan, and more than 300,000 yuan but less than 500,000 yuan are respectively deemed as "large amount", "huge amount" and "extremely huge amount" as stipulated in Article 264 of the Criminal Law.

Individuals who steal public or private property with a value of more than 500 yuan and less than 2,000 yuan are considered as "a large amount";

Personal theft of public or private property worth more than 5,000 yuan to 20,000 yuan is "a huge amount";

Individuals who steal public or private property with a value of more than RMB 30,000 yuan to RMB10,000 yuan are deemed as "extremely huge".

Beijing:

Personal theft of public or private property amounts to more than 1000 yuan;

Personal theft of public and private property is huge, which is more than 10000 yuan;

The amount of personal theft of public and private property is particularly huge, more than 60 thousand yuan.

Shanghai:

Individuals who steal public or private property worth more than 2,000 yuan are deemed as "a large amount";

Individuals who steal public or private property with a value of more than 20,000 yuan are deemed as "a huge amount";

Individuals who steal public or private property with a value of more than RMB 100000 yuan are deemed as "extremely huge".

Zhejiang:

Personal theft of public or private property with a large amount or criminal responsibility starting point: 2000 yuan;

The amount of personal theft of public and private property is huge: 20 thousand yuan;

The amount of personal theft of public and private property is extremely huge: 80,000 yuan.

Guangdong:

The first category is Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Shantou, Foshan, Dongguan and Zhongshan.

The starting point of personal theft is more than 2000 yuan;

The starting point of the huge amount is more than 20 thousand yuan;

The starting point for a particularly huge amount is10 million yuan or more.

The second category is Huizhou, Jiangmen, Zhanjiang, Maoming, Zhaoqing, Chaozhou, Jieyang and Shanwei.

The starting point of personal theft is above 1500 yuan;

The standard of huge amount is above 15000;

The standard for a particularly huge amount is more than 90,000 yuan.

The three types of areas are Heyuan, Yunfu, Yangjiang, Qingyuan, Meizhou and Shaoguan.

Jiangsu:

Individuals who steal public or private property in People's Republic of China (PRC) with a value of more than 1000 yuan are deemed as "a large amount".

Individuals who steal public or private property in People's Republic of China (PRC) with a value of more than 10000 yuan are deemed as "a huge amount".

Individuals who steal public or private property in People's Republic of China (PRC) with a value of more than 60,000 yuan are regarded as "extremely huge".

Legal basis: Article 264 of the Criminal Law? Theft: Whoever steals public or private property in a relatively large amount, or commits theft, burglary, theft with a weapon or pickpocketing for many times, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention or public surveillance, and shall also or only be fined; If the amount is huge or there are other serious circumstances, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than ten years and shall also be fined; If the amount is especially huge or there are other especially serious circumstances, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 10 years or life imprisonment, and shall also be fined or confiscated.
